A VILLANOVAN BRONZE HORSE BIT

The bit composed of two lengths of twisted wire with loops at each end, both cheek-pieces in the form of a stylized horse with a ridged mane, and bill-like muzzle, loops above and below for attachment of harness fittings, with a looped extension on either side for attachment of the reins
