A CORE-FORMED GLASS OINOCHOE
Eastern Mediterranean, Circa Late 6th-5th Century B.C.
Cobalt blue in color, the globular body with broad, rounded shoulders, an out-splayed ring-foot, a short cylindrical neck with trefoil mouth, and a single applied handle, with opaque yellow and opaque turquoise threads wound spirally on the body, marvered and tooled into a zig-zag pattern on the middle of the body, with opaque yellow on the rim and on the edge of the foot
