A LARGE ROMAN JUG
Circa 1st-2nd Century A.D.
Pale yellow-green in color, free-blown, the wide cylindrical body slightly concave on the underside, with six registers of irregularly-spaced lathe-cut bands, a short cylindrical neck, a folded, flat rim with some constriction below, and an applied strap handle bent at a right angle, with eleven dense ribs
