Turned slightly to his left with upturned gaze, the rounded face with full lips slightly parted, the large, wide-open eyes in deep sockets, with fleshy cheeks and furrowed brow, the hair in short, curly locks with a wide diadem tied around the head

Acquired in Egypt in the early 20th Century by an employee of Baron Empain who was constructing the railway system in Cairo and Alexandria
