Depicted wearing a tunic and a toga, his right hand holding the edge of the garment in the "arm-sling" pose, his left hand holding a foliate object, his beard smooth but slightly raised, his hair combed back in striated rows, his convex, lidded eyes with articulated pupils and irises, with a partially preserved Greek inscription below bidding the deceased "farewell"
