Circa 1st Century B.C.
Perhaps depicting a hero, sculpted in the round, with a high onkos of spiral curls bound in a fillet, preserving part of a mustache and naturalistic beard, with wide open eyes beneath deeply modelled and knitted brows, the back of the head with summarily carved locks, preserving part of a finger along the right edge from the hand that originally held the mask, with traces of red pigment on the fillet
