Originally standing with her weight on her right leg, her left leg slightly advanced and bent at the knee, leaning slightly forward, her right arm lowered, with her now-missing hand originally covering her pudendum, the left arm presumably once holding a garment, with broad hips, a slender waist and small breasts

Based on a Greek original of the 4th century B.C., likely the work of a follower of Praxiteles. The type is known from several Roman copies, including a fairly complete example in the Glyptothek, Munich, fig. 29 in Bieber, The Sculpture of the Hellenistic Age.
