cover 1847 (17 Oct.) envelope addressed to a Capt. with the 8th Hussars at Cahir, then redirected four times (Athlone, Ballincollig, Cork and Dublin) and inscribed "Not 7th Hussars" and rated "1", bearing 1841 1d., margins nearly all round, tied by "23" in diamond of bars of Antrim, with fine strike of an unrecorded straight-line "NOT KNOWN" (presumably Dublin), the reverse showing nine datestamps; adhesive with slight faults but not detracting.
