Of cylindrical form, the sloping front and the body with gilt heightened foliate decoration, with scrolling foliate cast handle above, on a fluted oval socle, the shovel (possibly associated) with ceramic handle, the underside stamped RUSKIN and with diamond registration stamp for October 1861 -- 20in. (50.8cm.) long; a brass and steel mesh firescreen, early 20th century, and a set of three steel and brass fire irons, 20th century (5)
