A NEO-ASSYRIAN BLACK SERPENTINE CYLINDER SEAL
Circa 900-750 B.C.
Carved in the linear style with a hunting scene: a horse-drawn chariot moving to the left with a small cab and a rosette-spoked wheel, the driver standing in the cab holding the reins, a tall standard at the back of the cab, to the left a standing archer aiming at a rearing ibex, with a star, a lunar crescent, and two groups of wedges above, line borders above and below
