An unusual early 20th-Century lacquered-brass mountain barometer,
unsigned, stamped N.o939 , the pierced scale graduated 50-82 on one side, and 19.75-32.25 on the other, the sliding index moved by rack and pinion and engraved 0-100 to read off one side and 0-5 to read off the other, with the original lacquered-brass folding tripod stand, both contained in the original plush-lined tubular leather carrying case -- 5in. (114.3cm.) high
