unsigned, the case surmounted by a figure of a Benjamin Franklin with pen and scroll, a model of an electrostatic plate machine beside him, with concave bowed front angles, with gilt bronze cast frame to the dial and conforming gallery to the base, white enamel Roman dial with gilt spade hands, the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell -- 22½in. (57cm.) high
