A fine [?]late 19th-Century lacquered-brass micrometer measurer,
signed on the reverse Mentzels Patent No37 W.J. Rohrbeck Berlin, exact purpose unknown, with finely divided micrometer scale and ebonised wooden handle, contained in the original plush-lined leatherette-covered case, with two brass hooks and eyes -- 7½in. (19cm.) wide
