4th edition, London, 1771, printed for the Author and sold by him at No. 60, in Fleet-Street, and by all Booksellers in Town and Country, 4°, with seventy-two copper-engraved fold-out plates, contemporary paper-covered boards, leather spine with gold tooling and inscribed in ink MICROGRPHIA ILLUSTRATA, the inside of the front board inscribed Fourth and last edition, which is of special interest. It describes Culpepper's [sic] double microscope, Wilson's pocket and solar microscopes and Ellie's aquatic microscope (some staining and foxing, tears to spine, wear to boards)
