A QUEEN ANNE 'MULBERRY', YEW WOOD CROSSBANDED AND EBONY STRUNG BUREAU CABINET OF SMALL SIZE, EARLY 18TH CENTURY AND LATER
With later veneers to the side, the upper part with a moulded arched broken pediment and fitted with adjustable shelves containing three drawers below, enclosed by a later ogee arched re-entrant moulded panel door inset with later mirror plate between simulated pilaster inlaid stiles fitted with a candle slide below, the sloping fall enclosing a fitted interior with central cupboard enclosed by re-entrant arched mirrored panel door flanked by pigeon holes and three drawers to either side, the interior veneered in 'mulberry' and inset with a later tooled green leather panel containing two short and two long drawers below on later bracket feet, the sides of the upper part with oak sides with veneers missing, the lower part right side later veneered with walnut, the left side with original mulberry veneers within ebonised lines and rosewood borders
