A PAIR OF CARVED WALNUT AND NEEDLEWORK UPHOLSTERED OPEN ARMCHAIRS, LATE 19TH CENTURY, in the Louis XIV Franco-Flemish style
The upholstered backs and seats with petit point needlework possibly part 18th century, depicting dancing figures in tree landscapes with birds and basket of flowers within grospoint floral needlework surround, the other depicting Oriental dressed figures with exotic birds within similar borders with scroll arm supports and curved legs joined by similar stretchers (2)
