With nickel-finished jewelled lever movement, the black dial with luminous Arabic and baton numerals, luminous hands, eccentric subsidiary seconds, the heavy water-resistant-type cushion-shaped case with engraved screw back, crown protecting bridge with brake lever lock, downturned lugs, together with a stainless steel Panerai buckle, Panerai wooden presentation box, papers and outer packaging

Lot Essay

Guido Panerai & Figlio, founded in 1860 in Florence, produced precision instruments for the Italian Navy. In 1936 the company, later renamed Officine Panerai, launched the first prototype of a diver's watch. The 'Radiomir Panerai' was made for the 'Torpedo Riders', a secret commando of the Italian Navy.

The present lot, is number 45 of a limited edition of 200 pieces, produced for Sylvester Stallone's film, Daybreak. The Slytech Panerai features Stallone's engraved signature on the back of the case.
