Lot Essay

Patek Philippe confirm production of this watch in 1902. It was sold without a case to Tiffany & Co. on 30 December 1902.

If one were to quickly glance at this watch, it may be assumed that the subsidiary dial to the 12 o'clock position displays constant seconds, when in fact it indicates 60 minutes register. The 60 minutes and 12 hours registers are a rare dial configuration.
