A WORCESTER POWDERED BLUE GROUND FACETED BOTTLE AND BASIN
Circa 1765
Painted with exotic birds amoung berried foliage and with butterflies and insects within shaped gilt scroll cartouches reserved on powdered blue grounds, gilt with flower sprays, the bottle with later giltmetal mount and mounted cork stopper with chain attachment (repair to rim of neck)
The bottle 27 cm. (10 1/2 in.) high; the basin 28 cm. (11 in.) diameter
