A PAIR OF MEISSEN SCHNEEBALLEN VASES AND COVERS
Late 19th century
Each applied overall with rows of yellow-centred white mayflowers with entwined double branch handles issuing slender green stems with large ball terminals and pair of birds, the cover with a large parrot perched on branch finial, issuing balls and red berries, on stepped spreading foot with gilt bands, blue crossed swords mounts and incised numbers (restoration and over painting, chips and losses)
