The foliate cast gilt dial with individual white enamel Roman and Arabic chapter cartouches, blue steel hands, the movement with rectangular plates secured with five back-pinned baluster pillars, replaced escapement, calibrated courtwheel strike on bell above, the backplate engraved Myneul a Paris, the chevron veneered case with foliate mounts, the waisted glazed door with central figure of a fox and a bird, the concave moulded top surmounted by a bird, on an ogee moulded wall bracket with similar decoration
