The clock signed Robin Horologier du Roy a Paris
The clock having an enamelled dial with Arabic numerals united by flower swags, supported by a flower swagged and laurel wreathed lyre surmounted by a radiant Apollo mask, and having a movable bezel/pendulum set with pastes, on an oval base having ormolu swags of flowers, beads and interlaced foliage, on milled feet; flanked by a pair of four-light candelabra, each in the form of a white marble urn on flower swagged Bacchus mask monopodiae supports, issuing a basket of flowers with four naturalistically modelled rose branches and flowerheads forming the candle branches
The clock 58 cm. (22 3/4 in.) high; the candelabra 44 cm. (10 1/4 in.) high
