The figure cast seated in vajrasana with one hand held up in vitarka mudra and the other lowered in varada mudra, wearing a dhoti decorated in gilt flowers and indistinct characters outlined in black on a red ground, the robe open to expose the gold chest and undergarment tied in a bow around the waist, the face with a serene expression and downcast eyes, the hair in tight curls surrounding the urna, lacquer flakes
