Of bombé shape, its looped handles issuing from zoomorphic heads applied to the rim, the exterior inlaid with silver wire to depict archaistic taotie masks and scrolling motifs and enriched with irregular gold splashes on the dark green patinated ground, the nianhao surrounded by dragons in medium relief
