The first enamelled with shaped panels enclosing a scholar meditating in a riverscape, a mythical beast, a bird on a prunus branch, butterflies above flower sprays, and archaistic vessels and utensils, the panels reserved on a ground of green, red, yellow and aubergine dragon and phoenix-headed scrolls, the neck with panels of hares and a feline; the second vase similarly enamelled, cracked
