The molded broken swan's-neck pediment centering a scrolled volute above an arched head centering a glazed door with inlaid brass opening to a brass dial with moonphase and Roman and Arabic chapter rings centering the inscription, Walter H Durfee Providence, enclosed by embellished spandrels, all flanked by fluted engaged colonettes with brass capitals, over a waisted case with conforming door with inlaid brass detailing flanked by engaged fluted colonettes with brass Corinthian capitals above molded mid-molding with box base with brass detail and similar flanking engaged fluted colonettes, on ogee bracket feet
