FIRST EDITION. Henrietta Anne of England (1644-1670), daughter of King Charles I, was brought up as an exile by her mother in Paris. On 30 March 1661 she was married to Philippe de France, Duc d' Orléans, the homosexual brother of Louis XIV. She played an important role in the secret negotiations with her brother, Charles II which led to the Treaty of Dover, allying England and France against the Dutch. Brunet III, 744: "édition originale, et qui paraît avoir été imprimée en France".
