Large manuscript estate map of five parcels of land in Surrey, drawn in ink and colour on parchment, scale bar, surmounted by a pair of dividers, of 40 perches to five inches [1:1,584], houses, gates and trees in perspective, within decorative floral border, baroque title cartouche, lettered in red and black, scale bar of 40 perches to 5 inches (some light staining), 760 x 950mm.

Below the cartouche of this highly decorative estate map are tables listing the individual fields in each parcel, with areas in a.r.p. and owner's names, and, most unusually, the number of the different varieties of trees in the hedgerows of each parcel.

John Farley (Bendall F027) is recorded as a surveyor in the Home Counties from 1713-29, although few of his surveys are known to have survived.
