Pen-and-ink sketch, 'Charles Dickens reading a chapter from Nicholas Nickleby in the 60s', signed 'AR', in an album containing 81 sketches, the majority dated 1865-1867, caricatures and scenes both domestic and on tours of Ireland, Scotland and the Continent, various sizes, 20th-century half brown morocco. A note on the title page incorrectly attributes the drawings to 'Ann Radcliffe Author of Mysteries of Udolpho' (she died in 1823).
