Rifled to .54 caliber, and marked at breech US/P/JN, tang marked 1824, lock marked U.S./S.NORTH with 1824/MIDN.CONN. marked vertically behind cock, walnut stock with three bands, patch box and butt plate
36 inch (91.4cm.) barrel
Does not appear to be a reconversion, however it is apparent that the rifle was converted to a lamp at one time as there appears to be a filled hole next to the cock
