AN ENGRAVED GOLD AND SILVER INLAID .44 W.C.F. WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 SADDLE RING CARBINE, NO. 86783 FOR 1895
The recently embellished rifle with flush gold inlaid scrolls at muzzle and breech, English proofed bolt, and frame with Double Headed Eagle motif on each side surrounded by scrolls highlighted with flush silver inlays and flush gold inlaid borders, stocked in ivory, the fore-end (cracked) with incised scrolls, the butt stock, checkered at wrist, with double sided cheekpiece bearing the incised Double Headed Eagle motif together with two scrolling dragons on either side
