The broadside listing the 125 towns and cities in the 7 districts that will take part in an election pf delegates to the Southern Convention for 4 February, 1861.
"Election Proclamation by the Governor of the State of Texas. Whereas, by virtue of an Act of the Legislature of the State of Texas, approved February 18, 1858, the Governor is authorized to order an election for Seven Delegates to represent Texas in a convention of Southern States;... as the best mode of maintaining "the equal rights of such states in the Union." Austin, December, 1860.

Folds, few small holes along fold lines, light intermittent staining, but a very good copy. Matted and framed (not examined out of the frame).
