A massive Victorian silver-gilt mounted mirror-plateau with two seven-light candelabra and a six-light candelabrum centrepiece

Shaped oblong, in two sections joined at the centre, the serpentine sides with moulded shell, scroll and rocaille borders, with cartouche and floral-garland angles, a seven-light candelabrum at each end, the foliate-scroll arms with detachable foliage sockets with scroll drip-pans, a floral support and cut-glass bowl beneath each, the sides of the plateau with four further foliate scroll supports with cut-glass bowls, the separate candelabra centrepiece on shaped lozenge and foliate scroll base with five detachable silver cherubs holding grapes and wine cups, one proffering detachable grapes in a basket, the scroll column with grape-vines, a detachable cartouche to each side, one with coat-of-arms, the other with presentation inscription, the two detachable foliate scroll branches each with three drip-pans with grape-vine borders and detachable sockets and nozzles, one socket lacking, the central detachable foliate scroll support with pendant grape-vines and oval cut-glass bowl, with two separate water-lilies each realistically chased, with three leaves, the plateau marked on base, branches, and sockets, the lilies, marked on leaves, the centrepiece marked on base, cherubs, detachable grapes, cartouches, and under central support
