Maker's mark of Robert Hennell, London, 1831 and 1832
Of bellied form, the teapot, coffee-pot and sugar-bowl on scroll feet, the cream-jug on rocaille pedestal foot and with textured rocaille helmet-shaped spout, each piece cast and chased with acanthus, flowers and scrolls, the coffee-pot and teapot with ivory insulators and leaf-capped handles and spouts, and with hinged covers and flower finials, the sugar-bowl and cream-jug with scalework handles, each piece engraved with a coat of arms and a crest and motto, the cream-jug marked on neck, the other pieces marked on base, the teapot and coffee pot also marked on handle
