The soup-tureens, with mark of Hans Heinrich Goertz, Eutin, the stands, with mark of Johann Wilhelm Dammann, Augsburg, 1763
The soup-tureens, shaped oval, on four pierced bracket, scroll and shell feet with rocaille terminals, with two pierced lattice, scroll and shell handles, the sides repoussé and chased with fruit and vegetables, the slightly domed covers similarly decorated, with floral garland and foliage-wrapped reeded borders, with pomegranate and foliate finial, engraved with a coat-of-arms and a crown within drapery mantling, the stands of similar borders with floral garlands, applied with fruiting vines, the tureens, marked on base, the stand, marked on front near border, the covers apparently unmarked
