A pair of Sèvres style dark-blue-ground 'jewelled' shaped portrait plates
painted with Louis XIV and Marie de Medicis, each titled to the reverse, within a gilt and turquoise 'jewelled' roundel, below a band of raised gilt and enamelled foliate ornament within two turquoise 'jewelled' bands, the border with further raised gilt and enamelled foliate sprigs within 'jewelled' bands, imitation Sèvres marks, late 19th century (some patches of flaking to enamel and rubbing to gilding) -- 24cm. wide
