Twelve Meissen (Tile factory) dark-blue-ground plates
each painted with lovers in landscapes within shaped cartouches gilt with scrolling foliage, within concentric gilt line, the borders painted with loose sprays of flowers within cartouches, beneath gilt scrolling ornament and gilt line rim, impressed and printed marks, Pressnummern, circa 1900 (some surface scratches and rubbing to gilding) -- 25cm. diam.
