A Meissen clock
modelled a putto, seated reading, beside a cockerel perched upon the draped clock, on a rectangular base, moulded and gilt with a central leaf, each corner moulded with a leafy rosette within a square section, upon two entwined bands, on four ball feet, blue crossed swords mark, Pressnummer 35 and 40, inscribed D78 (some replacement to the cockerel's tail feathers, other minor restoration) -- 29cm. high
