The octagonal section barrel of pattern-welded steel inlaid along its length with gold floral sprays, similar gold-inlaid lock, the sides of the stock with silver mounts in a form of a hexagram in a circle enclosing a rosette, bands of geometric inlay between bands of green-stained ivory and openwork silver plaques, a coin of George III dated 1817 set into the end of the butt, horn-tipped ramrod, minor losses, generally good condition
