A four-colour overlay opaque white glass snuff bottle
19th Century
of flattened rounded shape, carved through the overlay with a cat amongst blossoming branches issuing from rockwork below insects, the reverse with vessels and flower sprays, metal mounted stopper -- 2¼in. (5.7cm.) high; and a blue overlay opaque white glass bottle, of rounded shape, carved with a bird in a cage hanging from a flowering branch, the reverse with a young boy in a boat, some calligraphy to both sides, coral and gilt metal stopper -- 2 3/8in. (6cm.) high, (minor wear).
