A yellow and blue dragon bowl
Kangxi (1662-1722)
decorated to the exterior with ferocious five claw dragons interrupted by shou and fu character cartouches above a double band of lotus petals, all around a central dragon roundel on a yellow ground -- 5 1/8in. (13.2cm.) diam, Kangxi six character mark and of the period, (section restored); and a small famille verte black ground bowl, decorated with blossoming plants issuing from rockwork -- 3¾in. (9.7cm.) diam, Kangxi, (restoration).
