A VERY RARE 18ct. GOLD SQUARE CHRONOGRAPH WRISTWATCH
Model: "Gabus", Ref:8206, circa 1949.
square silvered dial signed Rolex Precision, applied gilt dagger markers, seconds ring divided into fifths, inner blue spiral tachymetric scale, subsidiary constant seconds and 30-minute recording dials, movement with compensation balance, square case with flared lugs, snap on back, dial, movement and case signed, 30mm.
It is thought that only 37 examples in yellow gold were made of the reference 8206 square "Gabus" chronograph.
