In the typical form of a table with a lower shelf, the top supported by two side panels each with a large lobed piercing, all the surfaces covered in black lacquer, the upper surfaces embellished in places with gold flakes and decorated in gold and silver togidashi-e [flat polished lacquer] with on the top an egret sitting on the railing of a bridge and on the lower shelf bamboos, rocks and jakago [stone-filled reinforcing baskets] by a stream, with simple metal fittings, minor scratches and damage
