Decorated in various coloured enamels and gilding on underglaze blue with a central roundel of peony sprays bordered by four lobed panels of stylised chrysanthemums, the everted rim with plum blossom and scrolling waves, the exterior with roundels of chrysanthemums and petal-shaped panels on a geometric ground, four-character Chinese-style studio mark
