A pair of Staffordshire pearlware cockerel jugs and covers
each naturalistically modelled standing, the covers forming the heads, with iron-red combs and wottles, black tails, their plumage enriched in iron-red and black, on rocky bases applied with flowers and foliage, late 18th century (each restored through legs and lower body, some overpainting, some restoration and overpainting to bases and to tips of extremities, and some small chips) -- 27cm. high
