Two Sunderland pottery figures from a Set of the Seasons
emblematic of Spring and Summer, possibly Dixon, Austin & Co., each modelled standing, Spring holding a spray of flowers, an upturned cornucopia filled with fruit to her side, Summer holding a spray of flowers and fruit and cornucopia filled with fruit, on mounds above titled square bases, enriched in colours and pink lustre, circa 1810 (Summer with minute glaze chip to nose and small chips to base) -- 22cm. and 23cm. high
