Edo Period (Late 17th Century)
Decorated in various coloured enamels and gilt on underglaze blue, the interior with a band of repeated design of a bird on a branch of bamboo growing from rocks and sprays of chrysanthemum and pinks, the reverse with sprays of peonies growing from rocks, minute chipping to rim
7 1/8in. (18.2cm.) diam.
