Late Meiji Period (Circa 1900-1910)
Of flattened ovoid form with a wide mouth, the pale blue enamel ground worked in wire and various shades of grey, white and black enamel with two carp and a ripple of water, some parts of the design in slight relief, applied with a silver rim and foot, the base also enamelled, carved openwork lid
