Of a herdboy with a flute tucked in his sash, seated on a reclining ox against a woven basket, the himotoshi on the base and formed by the curved back paw of the animal, eyes inlaid in horn, signed near the himotoshi Kaigyokusai kore o kizamu [Kaigyokusai carved this] with a square seal Masatsugu, slight old damage
