Two volumes of Rikka-zu [Illustrations of Rikka flower arrangements], Fukurotojibon, two volumes of an illustrated collection of Rikka-style flower arrangements, the first volume, dated to Kanbun 13 (1673) which is complete, is the oldest edition of printed collections of Rikka flower arrangements and contains 51 hand-coloured woodblock printed illustrations by such masters as Ikenobo Senko of the Rokkakudo branch of Ikenobo, in each illustration the vases have been coloured in grey using mica, and green, red, brown, yellow and white have been employed for the flowers and branches, the second volume, possibly of a slightly later date, contains 49 hand-coloured wood-block printed designs of flower arrangements some by Ikenobo Senko and compiled by the Rokkakudo branch of the Ikenobo school. In this volume a more limited palette is used-mica grey for the vases and shades of yellow and brown for the flowers, both volumes are in good condition, some pages
